About Christine Friesel
After dabbling with creative writing at Hanover College, Friesel went to work at the public library. There, she improved in areas of research and procrastination.
In 2009 she received an old, battered box from her mother, who discovered it while cleaning. Inside was the diary of her long-forgotten ancestor. Dumbfounded, she asked: Who is Charley Brother?
Moved by his story and that of his daughter, Frances Toyne, Friesel now writes short Catholic fiction.
